Copy terminal content to clipboard #

It’s convenient to pipe the terminal output to your clipboard, which is possible with xclip.

Piping directly to xclip will copy the content to mouse clickboard, which is only accessed by clicking on the middle mouse button.

echo such a copycat  | xclip

For the regular system clipboard, pipe to xclip using the flag -selection clipboard or -sel clip.

echo such a copycat  | xclip -sel clip
